Well, not bad at all for statistics! You seem to have hit your stride with Danish.
I’m curious to follow your trans-Scandinavian language adventure for next year. It sounds like a very interesting project.

I'm curious too :D No idea how that's going to work out ...
Just watched Sprængfarlig bombe. A bad movie about making a bad movie. Well, it was
watchable and mildly entertaining.

In preparation of next year's TAC I tested my Swedish skills (@folkuniversitetet.se).
Here are the results:
Category &nbs p; | Self assessment | Test result
------------------------|-------------------|------------
Writing   ; | &nbs p; A2 |
Grammar and vocabulary |   ; |&nbs p; A2
Reading   ; | &nbs p; B1 | B2
Listening &nb sp; | B1 | B1
Spoken Production | & nbsp; B1 |
Spoken Interaction | B1 |
------------------------|-------------------|------------
I was given the option to try the listening test one level higher, but I declined
because B1 was hard enough (I had to listen several times)

Not bad at all!
I can’t remember: Have you ever studied Swedish or did you get those results just because of your knowledge of Norwegian and Danish?
Anyway, it seems that you’re in a great starting position for TAC ’14. I’m sure you’ll see very fast progress, unless interference between the languages becomes too disruptive.
PS. Was the test online? Do you mind sharing the link with your fellow Vikings?

I have read and listend (>30h) to Swedish before, as well as having been part of an
inter-Scandinavian class for 1 semester a few years back, but I've never formally
studied Swedish.
The test is the one you wrote about
in your log if I'm not mistaken ;) At least your post made me search for it on the
folkuniversitet homepage.
In the meantime, I did the Norwegian one for comparison purposes:
Category &nbs p; | Self assessment | Test result
------------------------|-------------------|------------
Writing   ; | &nbs p; B2 |
Grammar and vocabulary |   ; |&nbs p; B2
Reading   ; | &nbs p; C1 | ≥C1
Listening &nb sp; | C1 | ≥C1
Spoken Production | & nbsp; C1 |
Spoken Interaction | B2 |
------------------------|-------------------|------------
It seems like HTLAL doesn't like many whitespaces, hopefully it's readable.

Thanks for the link.
No, I've never taken this test. I used their old ones which came in the form of 3 pdf files each one at a different level of difficulty. I may be able to track down those old files again, but I will need a little time and it will take a little detective work.
One of these days I’ll have to set up a new, disposable e-mail address for the new test: It looks much more complete, analyzing all your different skills separately. How do they evaluate “spoken production” and “spoken interaction”? Do they have someone speaking to you over Skype or something similar or is it all done by a computer?
Those C1 levels for Norwegian look amazing, by the way!

The pdfs were quite grammar heavy if you talk about those I think you do, the new test
not so much.
The spoken stuff is just self-assessment via these standard CEFR questionnairs, where
you tick on those statements that apply to you.
They only really test grammar (barely), reading and listening.
