In order to make a fresh start in the new year, I'll start a new discussion thread for the Super Challenge, so all questions you have about the challenge may be written here.
Please see first if your questions are answered after looking here:
TOTAL SUPER CHALLENGE REFERENCE THREAD
But if not, I or one of the participants are sure to give you an answer.
The first one is from Serpent

Um, depending on how you count it can be 364 or 365, but definitely not 363 yet? |

I do not know how come, but I'll contact Surrealix about it.

bandes dessinées
... but bandes dessinées are so damn expensive that I don't know if I'll continue with them. If I do, it will be with the complete editions intégrales that I see sometimes on Amazon.
I still have a few at home, though, so I'm not done with 'em yet. |

I posted this in emk's log, in case you didn't see...if you're ok with reading digital versions, you can get a lot of material MUCH cheaper. Rather than having to pay $37/volume ("on sale" from $46) for Blake et Mortimer, I was able to read it online for 2 Euros.
Check out, e.g., izneo.com.
EDIT: it was Blake et Mortimer that I was reading.

Thank you! I was hoping he'd see the thread :)
I'll say it once again:
Would you have signed up for the Super Challenge if this was a one-year thing? If you would, don't be discouraged if you're not where you'd want to be! Neither am I (apart from Polish), but we still have a whole year!!!
Can I read 9800 pages in Croatian, 9200 in Italian, 9000 in Portuguese, 4900 in Belarusian, 4500 in German and 3400 in Polish? Yes I believe I can :-)
(that's a total of... let me count... 40 800 pages)

I just signed up in December and I'm doing a Major Challenge (50 books, conversations,
films and writing) for both Croatian and Italian and Half Super Challenge with (100 films
only) for Arabic. One month doesn't make that much of a difference and there are so many
choices to choose from that there's really no reason not to join if you want to improve
your language(s) in 2013.
Question for Cristina, what counts as "writing"? Does it have to be original output or at
least something you translated into your target language?? Or does Scriptorium count as
writing too?

It's up to you, everything is allowed. Kerrie's writing is mostly Assimil, for example.

The main point is to get people to do more and study more than they would have done otherwise. That's why any sort of writing is allowed - if it helps motivate you to do more, then it is ok.
