:D I didn't *watch* the stuff to get ahead, I *logged* it for that. Even with the SC languages being a high priority, I don't always get to watch football in one of them. and I watched a lot ahead of my trip to Poland even though I had completed the film challenge by then.

Is the thread for the 2014 Super Challenge? I'd love to sign up for both Japanese and
Russian. I'll still work on what I'll be working on for both languages. I had a sorry year last year language-wise, so I really expect an entirely non-glamorous mention at the foot of the list. But oh well. I'll do my best this year :) 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Well for the Super Challenge I revealed that I was and remain a total optimist! However I have found that I can now watch a film in Spanish, French or German and understand it - almost everything in Spanish or French (or even Italian) and less in German.
I do know that when I'm at home I can easily watch a TL film most days - more if I'm 'working from home' and if I'm based in the office overseas it's "all Spanish all day" anyway and even then I can get in a little reading in French or chat to Germans: I tend to dodge the English people. That means I have 90 a day to use on languages - bring on 2014 & Arabic. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||
