My name is Brian Kwong and I was one of the participate in the first Polyglot Conference in Budapest last month.
It was an amazing experience where we all practiced our languages, share ideas on language learning and
making lots of new awesome friends.
I was so impressed with the conference, I volunteer myself to get on the team to help Richard Simcott and Luca
Lampariello to create the next Polyglot Conference in Montreal/New York in 2014.
At the moment, we are sorting out dates and you will soon be able to vote on the date that work best for you.
Meanwhile, if you like to participate or if you have any question about the conference let me know :)
Last but not least, language learners from all levels are welcome!! We are all here to learn from each other
whether you think you are a polyglot or not :)
Thanks and talk soon!
PS: If you want to see a recap video of the conference in Budapest, just copy and paste "Polyglot Conference
Budapest Recap" in Youtube :)

Brian, thanks for volunteering. I am excited to be able to attend the NYC conference if possible since I live in Boston which is a comfortable 5 hour drive away. Please keep us posted and I will do my best to make arrangements to attend.

Likewise, Brian.
It would be great to have a conference like this easily accessible in several locations throughout the world.
I really look forward to the opportunity to go.
Of course, if there is ever one in Asia then I could schedule it around a business trip but I very rarely have the pleasure to go to Europe except on personal vacation.

Depending on when it's held and if it's in NYC I would be interested in volunteering. I
hope it's here and not in Montreal.

Wow this sounds like an absolutely fascinating idea, I for sure would love to go and
participate in such an event. Where can we go to find out more logistical details? Is
there a website or blog already made at this point?

I think you could save some money and attract younger crowds if you considered hosting the conferences
at local universities. I know in Montreal that McGill or UQAM would be happy to host us! Or are you
looking at conference centres/other venues?
