Fun game. I tripped up with Somali and even Danish which I should have recognised.
I made a measly 750 on my first attempt. Some of the recordings are muffled though - so that's my excuse.
Checking the 'stats', the record score is 4050. Torbyrne must be playing!

Really nice game, I did quite well until I had to chose between several Indian languages or African languages.

Two observations:
1) the languages seem to be randomly grouped -- one round might be easy while the next might be hellish right from the start.
2) the more you play, the easier it gets because you start recognizing the excerpts ;)

I absolutely agree.
I did well with the Asian and Indian languages as well as the Latin descendents but I struggled with the Skandanavian and Eastern European languages as I have not really looked at them before. Still lots more to learn, apparently.
