Week 2 post:
Cicle 1:
Assimil: 8-10
Pimsleur: 13,14
Penguin: caps 3,4,5
+ Numbers 0-100 (speak and write correctly. I'm still working on them, to be able to
say them without thinking, just as I already do in the other languages I
speak/study)
+ Grammar: I finally understood verbal aspects and the case system!! Not that I
remember which endings should I put without looking, but I really understood it's
essence.
In this week I didn't study much my books, but I did a lot of research on grammar to
help overall understanding. So, I think it was very productive and I'm very happy with
that.
edit: errors

Thank you all for the support. I'm trying really hard to understand this language.
Sometimes It is so complicated...
I didn't have much time this week to study russian because I had to work really hard, but
I hope next week will be better.
I've reviewed some grammar on verbes. Now I have many doubts haha. I shall ask for team
help real soon. :)
большое спасибо!

I've studied Prepositional Case, Plurals on Nominative and some Verbs
My reading on cyrillic is slowly improving but far from good.
Not much to post this week... извините

I'm building up an anki deck with every new word I find in Assimil or Penguin. It is
helping a lot.
I recommend it.
Also, I've noticed that it is very important to master cases as soon as possible, because
for every new word you learn, there's always a following doubt about it's ending: this
word is like that or it is changed?

This week report:
This language is... so hard. I'm seeing myself as a cast away who is rowing nonstop but never seeing anything in
the horizon (today I'm poetic and a little dramatic, I admit)
Well... I'm still trying to memorize cases. I've studied the Accusative case this week. Anki is helping but I really
need to improve vocabulary.
What I'm finding to be the hardest is that I'm never sure if what I'm writing is right or is wrong, unless I strict
follow the book's texts. I wish there was a website like bonpatron.com (french) to correct text. Also, I can't trust
google translator.
I'm finishing my cicle 1 by next weekend (I hope). At the beginning of my studies, I divided my three books
(Assimil, Penguin and Pimsleur) into 7 cicles in order to keep track of things and to complete then in 8 to 9
months. So I'm still on schedule here, despite the fact that I'm focusing mainly on french until April.
