Have you picked your language yet? The bot is ready to take your registrations.

For those who are new to the forum: the 6 Week Challenge is a challenge to upgrade your
language skills in one language from beginner to something more worthwhile, and to see
if you can find more time to study languages when competing with other participants in
a global highscore.

6 Week Challenges start on February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st every
year, so there is a rough 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off pattern.

Note that you can only do the 6 Week Challenge with a language that you're a
beginner or lower-intermediate at most. This allows for a more just comparison
between participants.

The list of registrants / high-score: http://6wc.learnlangs.com

How to register / how to participate: http://6wc.learnlangs.com/howto

Good luck everyone and enjoy!

I just might register with Icelandic... intriguing. I missed the last two so I think I could do it this time.

Awww, I suddenly felt a desire to register for Swedish, but in the beginning of November comes colloquiums and other stuff, which I'll be using to justify myself. And, actually, every 6WC seems to be contacting with some period of extreme weirdness at my university. Sad situation :(

I'm wondering whether I should register with Japanese.

On the one hand, I don't have much time for languages right now, but on the other hand, the 6WC might be the appropriate incentive not to let my languages slide completely.

Hmm, still thinking...

I'm tempted...but I want to keep up with my Spanish (which is at a solid intermediate level now), and I also
participate in NaNoWriMo every year (writing a 50 000 word novel in 30 days). Alas, there are not enough hours in
the day!

Good luck to all participants!

I am also an annual NaNoWriMo participant, so I won't have as much language time as I'd like in November...

Next time!
