Bem-vindos!

É meu diário de TAC 2014. Eu estudo português com Team Iberia. Meu objectivo é A2.

Iberia TAC 2014 TEAM THREAD

My starting point right now is CD 1 of MT Foundation Course + Duolingo level 7 (854 xp, 324 words), the
latter I've accumulated in a 13 day streak, which is basically my total time spent on Portuguese so far.

Oi! Boa sorte com os estudos!
MT seemed good to me when I tried it. The students clearly have some experience with Spanish or Italian.

Obrigada,

Somehow, MT seems hard to persist in for me, possibly because I'm a very visual learner; the only MT
course I really stayed Sith was the Russian one, but I'll keep having at it, possibly with breaks between. In
any case MT never works bh itself for me, I need something else to complement it concurrently.

Boa sorte, ennime!

Se você precisar de alguma ajuda, é só pedir! =) Misschien kunnen we ook een beetje in Nederlands spreken!

Your sentence means "if you need some help, it is only to be asked", of vloeiend: also je help wilt, moet je
maar vragen :)

I think the formal Portuguese is what I'm focussing on now until I have the basis solid, in order to avoid
confusion :) my focus is on português de Portuga, for now... portuguese is a bit confusing as I'm
encountering different pronunciations between different materials

The pronunciation is indeed quite different. For example, some or most Brazilians can't understand the Portugal version that easily, at least not before some ear training. I've heard that the opposite doesn't apply, since Brazilian media is quite common in Portugal (so I've heard), I can't confirm that, but I can say that Portuguese media is close to zero here in Brazil.

Still, boa sorte!
