Hello. Good luck with the languages. It looks like a lot but I hope you stick with the Japanese ;). Japanese is
way more interesting than the rest XD.

What an impressive list of languages! Albanian, Croatian, Hindi, Hungarian and Turkish are also languages I expect to learn one day. I have this textbook Discovering Albanian too, and it looks tempting.
Make yourself at home at our new Scandinavian team! Looking forward to reading about your progress in your languages. You sure don't have issues with understanding spoken Danish? It's a renowned difficulty, good for you then!

What a wonderful smörgåsbord of languages, Sooniye!! I'm particularly interested in following how you get on with Hindi, Croatian, and Turkish, and much like you, I'm a big fan of Danish cinema too. Wishing you all the best with your goals this year! :)

Danish cinema and TV was pretty much the main reason why I started with Danish.
What's the reason you want good active skills in Norwegian though? That seems so
unnecessary for a Swede, unless it's job-related.

@kraemder I am sure I will get stucked for life with Japanese. But it is so beautiful so I
sure don't mind! I will read your log from the beginning, already started doing it a while
ago. Very interesting read!
@Expugnator Yes, languages are so shiny and tempting. As for Danish, oh, I "understand" it,
but I sure have issues with it. I think I only understand the one they talk in movies, and I
still get a mighty headache after listening. But my listening skill is still better than my
talking :) Will sure make myself at home in the Scandinavian team!
@agantik Thanks and godt nytt år til deg også. Looking forward to be your team mate as well!
@Teango Thank you, and yes, the Danes sure know how to make movies!
@daegga Yes, you are most likely right. I think it is mostly for linguistic reasons. To be
able to really compare and understand the different paths that Swedish and Norweigan have
been taking. Those kind of things can keep me occupied for ages, so fascinating! Looking
forward to be your team mate this year!

Since New Year I hace been having fever and a cold. I have not had much strength to do
anything whatsoever. I have mostly been repeating the kana and the pronunciation of Albanian
and Hungarian. I hope to very soon feel better so that I can study much more.
