Hi everyone.
I'm finally studying French seriously, and I would like to have some advice about
French podcasts to listen. I'm right now listening the radio recording of France
Culture. I like them a lot because the arguments are very interesting. They allow me
to improve my vocabulary and my knowledge of the world, so I appreciate them a lot and
I will continue to listen to them.
But they are too easy to understand. They speak very clearly and with a formal
register. I would like to find more challenging podcasts to add to my feeds, namely
- at least one that use more difficult vocabulary and they talk faster
- at least one where people speak super fast, slur quite a lot and use lower registers

(both strictly from France)

Do you have any suggestion for me?

Thank you very much in advance!

For a good mix of register and lively conversation, I enjoy call-in shows (or ones that have a call-in portion) such as Le téléphone sonne, Service Public, Interactiv', and Là-bas si j'y suis. Also you should check out the radio station Rire et Chansons which plays standup comedy. Also check out the station Le Mouv' for a younger, alternative, pop culture vibe (a lot of it is music but there's also some talk radio as well).

I don't think my suggestions fit your requirements very well but they're good podcasts so I might as well share them:

CQFD is a science and health podcast from Swiss national radio. Some of the vocabulary might be challenging because of the topics they deal with.

Monumental is my favourite podcast right now. They just talk about a city or a historical site for an hour. Past shows include Istanbul, Moscow, Babylon. Also, there are often songs in French in almost every episode, so it's a good way to find some new music.

Hey @pesahson thank you very much!
They both soudns very interesting!

Actually I now regret my "strictly from France". I think can be very good to listen to
totally different accents.

I actually missed that part ;).
I listened to some Belgian radio as well and I don't hear much difference. I guess my French isn't that good yet to pick up on those nuances. Also, radio speakers always speak a standard version anyway. Well, Québécois is totally different and listening to a lot of audio from Canada might influence one's pronunciation, but I don't think you could harm yourself in anyway by mixing up French, Belgian and Swiss audio input.

I don´t know if you´re into video games or technology, but
Gamerside and
Gameblog are good podcasts with casual speech and a
lot of slang. They talk fast, and they argue quite passionately as well.
