Hello everybody!
I am glad to meet you! I am from Munich, Southern Germany.
Currently I study economics, and this is actually the main reason why I am here. Although I was
tested with an IELTS of 8.0 some years ago, I am neither able to have a decent conversation in
English nor am I able to understand academic / higher quality texts without using a dictionary. And
I want to change this as it is holding me back. I plan at least an hour a day doing formal studying
(flashcards, grammar, etc.) + reading/listening/(speaking) as much as I can for the next years. I
plan not to stop until my English is at a very high level (so above C2 i guess?). And after that, who
knows, maybe I will add another language (I did some French and Latin in high school) :-)
I will post my study plan in a separate thread (i hope that is the correct way).
Looking forward meeting you all!
