I'm looking at testing for Russian for the most part but I'm also interested in Spanish, Arabic and Farsi later on. I live in the US but I'm having a difficult time with finding test centers in or near Michigan where they test on the CERF scale or the ILR scale.
I did find a website called ProFluent where they test for speaking but I'm not sure about them. I did find a university in Ohio that did test for the Russian language (TKRI) but they discontinued that for some reason.
I don't work for the US government so I guess I might be stuck with ProFluent but I'm not sure. Anyone know of any places?

My suggestion would be to look up more official language tests for the languages that you're wanting
to learn and then look up where testing centers are. For Japanese that's the JLPT tests, for German
it's primarily the Goethe Institute tests, Chinese it's the HSK, etc.
Here's a wikipedia link to get you started

Thanks for getting back to me aokoye..
Looks like that I haven't really found anything else. I guess I just gotta go off the ILR scale and buy test books to test myself harshly.

Looks like there's a testing center in Bowling Green, OH for the TORFL tests (the
standard Russian tests) according to this website:http://www.torfl.org/en/content/

You might want to give them a call to get specifics or to confirm.
