I am currently undertaking a Russian evening course. Unfortunately due to travel and other commitments I will only be able to take classes up to higher GCSE level. I would like to be able to teach myself and obtain an A level in Russian but am unsure about the best language learning materials in terms of covering the curriculum. Has anyone taught themselves and got themselves through a qualification in Russian?

rmel, I don't think Russian is really any different from any other language. And since
lots of people teach themselves and get certificates in all the other languages, I
believe it could be done with Russian as well.
Can you share which materials did you finally decide to use?
