Hey everybody,
I've been living in Germany for the past few years, passed the Goethe C1 exam and started a Bachelor's degree here in Berlin last October. I've got a German boyfriend with whom I speak mostly German, and spend most of my time at a German-speaking environment at school.
My level of German is pretty good, but even after all this time, I'm still feeling like it's not progressing how I'd like. My confidence in German comes and goes in waves, and despite all the input and practice I'm getting, I feel like I'm missing some other part to progress farther.
What kind of path do you think might be most appropriate for me in this situation? I've already done Assimil and FSI ages ago, and I'm thinking that specific 'language learning' courses are not exactly what I'm looking for. Perhaps just reading more? Or an Anki/flashcards type of situation?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Try posting on www.forum.language-learners.org as
you might get a few more answers. Of course this
site is still in use but due to various technical
issues an alternative forum was set up and is a bit
more active than this one.
