Has anyone else heard of this news story? Body parts were found in Belgium with notes say ing "Watashi wa kira dess" which is 私はキラです in mispelled Romanized Japanese.
I find this case a bit macabre and wonder if it won't have detrimental effects upon the popularity of manga in Belgium, has there been any more news? 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Have you got a link for this news story? I studied Japanese a few years ago but I'm guessing "watashi wa kira desu" means "I am a killer" or maybe its a reference to a manga/anmie called Death Note where the main character calls himself Kira (he kills people in the manga so I hope its not a copy killing or anything)...If it's true then this worries me. I hope Belgians wont generalise and ban all manga or something! That would be silly...
