As advised by Iversen, I copy and paste here this from the thread "I spoke to Ziad Fazah"

In the original audiofile Ziad made, which very much surprised me, a silly point really, well it happens in not very serious conversation. He said, I seem to remember, and I hope I understood right:

"...cause you know, I am a Gemini..."

It is very uncommon people who havent studied astrology really believe, and intelligent people who have studied dont believe, so it always surprises me when someone comes up with a Sun-sign based naive comment. It is really ridiculous. However it made me wonder if someone would find interesting to tackle this topic:

POLYGLOTTERY AND ASTROLOGY

I have learned some lately, and rather than signs. for interest in languages, communication, information processing, ones looks above all to Mercury. A classic indication of polyglottery is Mercury in "aspect" (a certain angle) with Jupiter, cause Jupiter is expansion, and ceirtanly languages learning can be viewed as:

"a desire to expand (JUPITER) one's communication abilities (MERCURY)"

I was once in a translation/interpretation faculty. I checked 5 people, and we all had Mercury in trine or conjunction with Jupiter. In famous polyglots, unfortunately I only had the chance to look at Richard Burton, and was very disappointing, he has Mercury with Moon, who has a reputation of, well "being in the Moon". It is tiny sample of course but who knows, if anyone here is interested about this matter, write here or PM me with your:

Date birth (month in letters to prevent errors)
Time birth (24 hours system please) if unkown doesnt matter, still can see something
Place birth (if a small village, the nearest city and country)

and I will "publish" my impressions right here.

I am not saying is a big issue, just enjoy checking things by myself, probably I dont see anything, I am disastrous as an astrologer, too much bloody obscurantism. To start this little investigation I record me myself, humble student, my Mercury has:

Trine Jupiter
Sextile Saturn
Sextile Mars
Square Neptune
Trine Ascendant
(Biquintile Uranus, some other minor aspects Pluto, etc)
Which is a lot. I only found such a heavily closedly aspected Mercury in Nietzsche.

Let's see if we can find something! Thank you for your interest. (I will dismiss requests for advice on love matters :))

(EDIT: now that I think about it, it is definitively better you PM me with your birth data, this way:
1) they remain confidential
2) the thread is not cluttered with messages giving only birth data
3) people who have alert message service selected dont get their mail accounts cluttered with alerts only to come here and see it is just one more message giving data and still no comments on their chart

About Gemini, I didnt mean to dismiss their certain connection with languages; in fact, in Ziad Fazah conversation with Keith Ziad struck me as a morbidly Geminian person, changing topic quickly all the time, that never ending superficial chit-chat for the sake of it; certainly having Sun in Gemini somewhat indicates ones ego likes to express himself in that and similar ways, but not necessarily if other things collide; in fact, as much as 1/3 of people with Sun in Gemini has Mercury in adjacent sign Taurus, which has a reputation for a slow going mind (which is not necessarily bad).
Those giving the time will have bonus comment on the area of life their polyglottery will surface, or maybe where they stand in the conversationalist/philological polyglot divide, or which study style supposeddly would suit them better).

Thank you but dont expect too much from me. I just have an open mind: if I see, I say, I see, and if I dont see, I say, I dont see)

Not a polyglot and not an astro-believer but I've had people asking me "are you by any chance a gemini?" =D

Jar-Ptitsa, yeah certainly...I was planning to comment on 7 charts or so in a go, you know, then sort of waiting, this is a "survey on cosmnic states of Mercuries", (which probably is ill-conceived since is sort of statistical method which doesnt go exactly well with astrology) not trying to read a chart, but by now seems clear noboby cares about this so we ll have a look at you and Bao and thats it.

JAR-PTITSA

Your Mercury has indeed an angle with Jupiter, not closed but Mercury moves toward its closure so it's something; it is an opposition so expansion of the mind comes in a bit more challenging ways, maybe you will have occasional difficulty with some form of misjudgment, between the "big picture" and the facts, or your polyglotic development have more ups and downs than average, but is no big deal. There's too some conjunction with Sun, which is not particularly important since so many people have it, but gives some ego energy, or just energy, to Mercury which helps. All in all I dont see languages is alien to you, besides your Moon nodes are in third house so probably this area of life (communications) is something you have to work on with a positive effect of actualizing you potential in this life.
Now, I'd like you to draw your attention to two so called "minor" angles your Mercury has, because you will probably overlook them if you ever have a look at your chart yourself, they are two semisquares to Neptune and Uranus, but I believe they are important because the one with Neptune is absolutely exact, to the fraction of degree, and I find them to be then very important. Besides, your Mercury slips in into Pisces, so double whammy. Mercury in water signs has a certain reputation of not being the ideal placement, but I think what happens is just the mind is infused with emotions, dry thought for the native is meaningless. Now, there is a minus and a plus in this: a Neptunian mind may have some concentration deficiencies, or difficulty to organize thought in a comprehensible to others manners (because conclusions are reached intuitively instead of through linear processes), so that the native can appear as less inteligent than really is, or contrarywise, inspirational and magnetic when talking or writing, but that is because Neptune opens the mind to the infinite, to touch the collective unconscious, so many apparently unrelated constant flux of images and feelings come from somewhere else ("nostalgy for histories you dont even lived"), which is terrific for creative writing, particularly poetry, plus psychic ability, "reading others like an open book". I did a survey like this in some 25 famous lets call them "psychics" and Mercury-Neptune was clearly the star angle. (Plus of course Pisces is the king of the zodiac in terms of psychic ability). Some people with this sort of Mercury are Jim Morrison, James Joyce. With some Uranian touch too no wonder you responded to my call, you know there's more to reality than is apparent to the eye so you feel the need to investigate. Your Mercury is with a fixed star too called Fomalhaut, which is mysterious and weird, because on one hand some tradition has it that Mercury there talks of a famed writer but on the other hand the native has to undergo a lot of slander and meanness from others through life, which is not very clear why happen. More confirmation in this line is that Sun and Mercury stand by the 5th house cusp, so technically in, the house of creativity, children, games and flirts. Telling imaginative stories to children would be a wonderful expression of this.
This is all there is about your Mercury, however, there's something else I can put in connection to polygloterry. This is my personal unexperienced thought, you wont find it in any book, but I am convinced of it. Your star aspect in general is an again exact like hell Pluto-Moon square, reinforced by others I dont tire you about. This is the great challenge of your life, is quite a subtle deep psychology thing Dovstoyevski style that is difficult to word, at your age probably you are not well aware of it, but is along the lines:
seems like something, I tell you at very deep invisible level, went wrong about "roots", family, very probably mother, lack of a really -althogh may be disguised- nurturing mother, or just rejecting her for some unfathomable reason, if I am wrong pardon me, but what is interesting for our business and I always saw in everyone with this, is a sort of strong compulsive dissatisfaction with self, sort of one is not comfortable within his "skin", or "shoes", and so a strong wilfulness to completely revamp or transform oneself, hopefully never reaching that sad ultimate revamp, suicide, and instead actually succeeding in self-transformation. Some people with this can do heavy aesthetic surgery, or move away to other country in a good-bye for ever way, even active and compulsively hating own roots and country, so expending a disproportionate amount of time and energy with all things foreign which in my opinion very much is a clue to extreme polyglottery, because when you are speaking other languages you feel like a different person, at least I feel it that way, and this is what Moon-Pluto persons want. I have observed this people with a comfortable Moon in their psyche, you know, had such a good mother, feel so good and homely, love their country and have many friends from it...all that
is good, but it would be a miracle if they ever become polyglots.

So in summation I would say the way to make polyglottery something meaningful within the general framework of your psyche would be this, from more to less important:

1) As a tool to transform yourself.
2) As a way to discipline thought and expression patterns
3) As a way to enjoy inspirational imaginative emotional thought, maybe even you yourself going into creative writing
4) Maybe within a couple, with a foreign partner, since you have again strong conjunction Mars-Venus and Ascendent Libra, which has a reputation of "I cannto live without a partner".

Thats it, hope didnt say too much nonsense. Thank you for your interest, good luck to you and a big hug.

Bao coming soon.

BAO

Indeed you may come across as prototypically Geminian cause you've got Sun, Mars, Mercury, and Moon Nodes in Gemini, and a heavy coming together of Pluto, Saturn and Moon in 3rd house of comunications in inmediate environment, which has a gemini connotation.
Your Mercury indeed has an angle with Jupiter, again an opposition as in Jar's case, but because you have in general so many other closed angles it is not particularly high-profile. In fact, Uranus is there closer, so you may have some eccentric rebelious streak in your mind, but again not the most important thing about you. Both Mercury and Jupiter are in the best signs they can be, and Mercury is with important benefic fixed star Aldebaran, which traditions has it "success in Mercurian -that is to say, dealing with some sort of communications- occupations"; furthermore, and more importantly, all those plantets are in 10th house, of image one has publicly, prototypically career.
Interestingly you have some Pluto-Moon connotation too, as with Jar, cause Moon is somewhat conjunction Pluto and just entered Scorpio, but i believe in your case will come in a much more harmonious way, since you have so many energetic (from Mars) inspirational (from Neptune) flowing energies, and essentially a harmonious personality (Sun and Moon in trine), which suggest someone who finds easy doing something positive with what there is inside her, even if sometimes there's some feelings of not being good enough or discomfort with oneself. Surely you could have had some Saturnian problems in 3rd house matters, maybe your first schooling wasnt as satisfying as your intelligence would have called for, or heavy arguments with siblings, mommy or neighbours, but with time this has or at least can translate into an ability to discipline your exuberant communication powers and to deliver self-constrained but powerful "now you are gonna hava a piece of my mind". If you want a comparison, dont really mean it, Hitler would deliver big (Jupiter) emotional (Moon) speaches in the inmediate milieu (3Rd HOUSE), you can deliver powerful (PLUTO) self-restrained, practical (SATURN) heart-felt(MOON) speeches in your milieu, haha, dont take it too much in consideration. Seems like these two areas of life, inmediate environment, you know, your city, your circle, your milieu, and career or else "public" image, are terribly high-profile compared to other areas of your life.
The point is that, the areas of stress there could be in your psyche, such us imagining too big out of reach possible outcomes for your energies, sort of thinking too high, too ideally, come out harmoniously in this area of live, you end up accepting limitations and hear the call of duty.

So I would say to make languages learning meaningful within the patterns of your life:

1) Connecting it to professional development, at least indirectly, maybe even make of it your career or at least getting your "messages" publicly known. I dont think philological polyglottery or polyglottery for the sake of it is for you. I am not saying is gonna be that, but for example picture: speakperson for the local administration, or journalist covering local matters, this sort of thing is expressed in your chart.
2) Put routine and discipline, fixed habits, into your study, sort of Assimil, "as little as half an hour, but everyday". Many poeple with ascendant Virgo like you like routine, you know, same hour, same place, same method, patiently from Lesson 1 to the end, rather than Farber's multiple track attack, which would confuse your mind. And yes, trivial conversation is where your heart is.

I hope I didnt tell much nonsense. Big kiss for you and good luck.

I've had a full chart done a number of times and find it fascinating, although I've never looked at it in relation to language learning. If you have time, my birth date is

EDIT: deleted birth date and place to minimise the danger of identity theft. Although considering I can't even get credit using my own identity, I'm not sure anyone else would want it...
