Can anyone tell me where one can find free unabridged recording of The Little Prince in French? I remember that the link was on the forum before...
Three more books added - two in French, one in Russian.

albalearning.com has a free recording of La Metamorfosis in Spanish that matches the bilingual text on bilingual-texts.com. http://albalearning.com/audiolibros/kafka_lametamorfosis-1.h tml

P.S. this is a really great project.

Here is a forum thread with links to The Little Prince in various languages.

Thanks, that was just what I was looking for! I added the link and found the Italian audio version on the same site too.

We now have 20 French-English parallel texts. I'm planning to prepare five more, namely:
1) "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo
2) "Notre-Dame de Paris" by the same author
3) "Le Comte de Monte-Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas (pere)
4) "La Dame aux camelias" by A. Dumas (fils)
5) "Le Pere Goriot" by Balzac.

I think that with these books added the French section would be rich enough and anyone would be able to find enough books to his/her taste. Is anyone willing to help? Maybe someone already has one of these books?

I've noticed that in the Spanish/English version of Master and Margarita English translation just does not sound
right here and there (at least when I compare it side by side with original Russian text) — what's the best way to
contribute a correction?

Well, translations are rarely literal, you know. That's because translators tend to preserve the correct meaning of the phrases in the spirit of their native language. Pay no attention to that, just read on and you'll see that in time everything will make sense. ;)

PS. I received Hugo's "Notre Dame de Paris" (thanks!) and four English-Japanese Sherlock Holmes novels in html format (huge thanks!). These novels aren't exactly parallel texts - the Japanese chunks pop up when you move your mouse over the original, which is IDEAL for beginners.

EDIT: My mistake: there are two links there, and you can choose between that mode and parallel text!

That's exactly what I am trying to say here ;) Certain things in that particular translation seem to be machine
translations (yeah, probably up there: they are that literal).

It's true I didn't proofread the text, but it seems to me highly unlikely. Can you point out to me such sentences?
