I am studying Spanish and French.I have been listening to, and very much enjoying, Carla Bruni songs. She speaks more than sings the lyrics, she has a clear (for me at least) pronunciation, and she goes at a slow speed. I also really like the type of songs she does. My question: who would be the equivalent in Spanish? I would like to listen to Spanish songs done the way Carla Bruni does her French songs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Gloria Estefan sings clearly in Cuban accented Spanish. Her first album in Spanish was "Mi tierra". Luz Casal is one of my favorite Spanish torch singers. She is Gallega but sings in quite clear Castillian Spanish. Check out her album "La pasión" Luz Casal Piensa en mí Gloria Estefan "Con los años que me quedan"
