Just came across a few online lessons for Quechua. Some in English, but mostly in Spanish.

Thanks for the links. As far as I'm interested in Native American Languages, I enjoyed very much these links. I want to compare Quechua with Mayan and Aztec languages. Maybe somekind of similitude could be found.

A question for those learning Quechua: Do you focus only on one branch of the language or use resources from
different strains?
I am slowly learning Inkawasi-Kanaris Quechua because that is what I have the most access to (I live in Northern
Peru) and I'm trying to decide if I should ignore or embrace resources that are from different regions. Or choose
carefully?
Please share any advice or experiences.

Another great resource is the textbook Quechua Live and in Color! which is based on a filme Ucuchi.
I believe the Quechuan language taught is probably Southern Quechua as Ucuchi was filmed in Bolivia.

Hello, I just joined this forum. I have been studying Quechua for over thirty years in various dialects -- in fact, I have a degree in linguistics and one of my special focuses was Quechua dialectology and historical/comparative linguistics. I am far from fluent in it (that is to say, I have to stop and decipher things in my head, so can't carry on much of a normal conversation) -- mostly because I have never been able to spend much time with monolingual Quechua speakers -- my Quechua-speaking friends would always "kindly" make things easier for me by switching to Spanish the minute I ran into difficulty with Quechua. And my Quechua is a mixture of the various dialects I have been exposed to. Nevertheless, I would like to offer myself as a resource for anyone with questions about Quechua. I would not have studied it so long if I didn't love this language!
