I wrote a short novel a few years ago in Spanish, as a way to further explore my relationship with the language. It's
also, in a largely metaphorical sense, about the study of language as a relationship. Now, I've posted the thing
as a blog, but I have not a single person to share it with.
I am wondering if there are websites where people can share writing like this online; perhaps a space where young
authors who write in different languages can communicate their ideas/responses. I've used lang-8 before, but the
format of that site doesn't seem appropriate for a longer text like a short novel. Basically, I'm just looking for some
feedback on my experiment--someone to tell me if the thing can actually be read, and finished.
If you know of such a place, please let me know.
Thanks!

Well, I don't know of any language-learning specific sites, but there is
www.fictionpress.com
From what I can tell, it has a lot of languages for a mainly-English site: the Spanish
section is pretty large, and they also list Punjabi, Indonesian, and Vietnamese, so it's
not just a European site either. Although, it does group Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish
together into Scandanavian.
However, because the people who write and read in these languages are mainly native
speakers, this could be a great site for receiving constructive criticism, both on the
story itself and tweaking things in your use of the language. It's not a perfect fit, but
you might want to try it out.

Thanks for the recommendation--I'll check that out! Sounds like a great fit, actually.

Why not here? Personally I can't read Spanish but if the book is in Spanish and about
language learning in any way this forum could be a could way to either publish it or just
link to the blog and ask for feedback
