I just wondered if any other forum members were aware that Lenguajero will be closing
down as from 18th june? How sad. I really wish I had made use of this resource while it was available. There's a moral there somewhere.. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||

I've been recommending it for years. What a shame, and it was free! It worked so well for writing and meeting people all over the Spanish-speaking world for language practice. It helped the people I know who really took advantage of all it had to offer. I liked that it was dedicated to Spanish and English only. Try using lang-8, it seems like another good language exchange website, for free!

¡Qué lástima! I am seriously bummed out about this. I've established several great friendships with users that I met there. I guess over the next 5-6 days I'll make the most of the service while it lasts and maybe contact a few remaining users. Another service to mention is conversationexchange.com which is specifically geared towards connecting people for skype or face-to-face conversations. No forums to post in, no text chat, and no proof-reading services for people's writings. 2 persons have voted this message useful |
