Erm.... I am talking about a different course than the one you are talking about. Instant Immersion is not Immersion Plus.

Try Spanish with Paul Noble it is more clear and comprehensive and does not have those annoying and confusing students. I have finished only 1CD of Spanish one but I have finished complete Collins Italian with Paul Noble. Spanish one also has two native speakers one with Spanish pronunciation and one with Latin American. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

The "Learn in Your Car" Penton Overseas course was one of the best things I ever did.
That course burned vocabulary and important phrases into my brain that I will never forget. I actually preferred it over Pimsleur because it was a ton of repetition. Also, this was HUGE on helping my accent. I practiced so I sounded just like the recording every time. I certainly still have an accent, but I really got to sounding like the recording. I repeated the word or sentence every single time it was said on the lesson. The booklet was great because it had all recordings written and simple grammar explanations. As far as my method, it was quite simple. If I missed ANY aspect of the lesson and got it wrong I had to repeat. Each lesson is usually 5-9 minutes I believe, not too long. So even if I missed one word, I would have to repeat. I was overlearning the words and phrases I knew but it burned this stuff into my brain. So I was listening to these lessons over and over until I had them down pat. This course got me to where I could speak well with a good accent, but it did not help my listening skills at all.
