3. Canadian

Our top three guesses for your native (first) language:

Somewhat accurate, but I have no idea where the Ebonics part came from. I grew up and lived in the country my whole life. Plus I've always made sure to never speak that way.

Not sure why black vernacular is mentioned 2nd. Guess I be listening to too much rap, mon.
I doubt I have any Scandinavian influences in my English, so I wonder if Scandinavian countries are just a generic guess for people with good English. Aside from the obvious US/UK/Australia.

Interesting test, and the first guess for each is correct because this test only focuses on grammar. My minor complaint is that since this test is about grammar, it can't make any considerations based on pronunciation and my idiolect of English is noticeable for the way I pronounce words and not from the use of so-called nonstandard grammatical features in my sentences and phrases.

Interesting quiz. The guesses for my native language weren't anywhere near but I guess that's good, isn't it. The US Black Vernacular is an interesting answer as well.

Trying to distinguish between New Zealand and Australia seems doomed to failure.

I guess I should be happy that the program thinks English is my first language. :)
But Romanian? Swedish? :)
