Any opinions regarding "Bueno, entonces!"?

What about anything somewhat similar?

There are a few threads on Bueno Entonces. The general consensus is that it is an interesting and fun program that does not really teach very much Spanish. It has no active component. I only watched a few episodes. Note also that it is heavily marketed.

Chicken_Monster, series like this are little to no use and mostly flashy fluff. There are no fluffy shortcuts to learning a language. If that we're true a generation of English-speaking Americans brought up on Sesame Street and Dora the Explorer would be bilingual by now. Have a look at my response to Bueno Entonces post. There's also a list of links to free Spanish resources at the end of the post.

There are a ton of resources available for English-speakers who want to learn Spanish. So much so that it can be overwhelming. My advice is to pick one, or a couple of courses, and make it happen. Most important of all is to get started, then be consistent and persistent. No course is the perfect solution. All of them have faults, weaknesses and knocks against them. Don't let that stop you from getting started and making it happen.
