I have been seeing these at stores, have any of you listened to these for learning purposes, and if so, would you recommend them?

Those do look interesting; thank you for bringing them to my attention. The amazon page gives no indication of the length of time, but how much audio could there be in an Asterix comic?
I suppose the question is, how interested are you in listening to children's audio? The age range is listed as 5-7, but Asterix also uses humour which appeals to adults. So on balance, I would expect these to be more interesting than other audio for the same age group.
