I am having a hard time finding a book or guide to teach me how to properly write essays or research papers in German, French, or Portuguese.

What I am looking for is a resource that gives you guidelines on how to organize, write, and possibly punctuate (though I do have some material for the latter in all the languages). Also something that gives you lists of those invaluable "key or linking words" needed when writing higher level material ("darüber hinaus", "par conséquence"). Something like this:

http://www.ehow.com/list_7219610_list-transitional-words-ess ay-writing.html

In summary, I'm looking for resources that teach you how to write well and organize paragraphs in those languages, something like those guide books that are given to students in middle or high/secondary school, and I assume the same happens in other countries. I don't know if essays are "built" different depending on the language, but I would like to know. I want to stop using "American English conventions", when I am writing longer texts in French or German.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot~!

For English

Found this for French

Portuguese

Spanish

German

For Gemran I cannot find anything at all. If I type "verbindende Wörter" or "Bindewörter", I get useless results, or a list of such words... in English for German learners. No lists at all for German itself. Kind off silly really.

Found another one for German, a bit more comprehensive:

With this list I would just make sure you look up the word or words to confirm speelling if you are not that comfortable with German yet. I have found a couple of spelling errors, but in general it is a useful list.
