Any other way to get round the proxy problem?

Get a download manager such as Flashget or Getright (from download.com) and then download the files by posting the URL addresses as mentioned above. It works fine.

I thought it was all streaming content that could not be downloaded? It comes via the mms protocol and not the http protocol.

I discovered NetTransport and found that I can download a lot of streamed content like the Swiss news. It's extremely convenient to load up now and I can practice my hearing skills with it. Too bad they wouldn't let me do that with France-2 news. But oh well, at least I can watch it with captions every night on TV5.

hi everybody
I'd Like to access the the video files for Teaching Foreign Languages directly by bypassing the main website. As an example here is program 3 for FiA:

mms://media.scctv.net/annenberg/French_In_Action_03.wmv

I'm in southamerica and I would like to watch these videos:

Teaching Foreign Languages K-12 Workshop

This video workshop will help K–12 foreign language teachers improve their practice by making connections between the National Standards for Foreign Language Learning and current research in foreign language education.
http://www.learner.org/resources/series201.html

Teaching Foreign Languages K-12: A Library of Classroom Practices

This video library illustrates effective instruction and assessment strategies for the teaching of foreign languages in grades K–12.
http://www.learner.org/resources/series185.html

Please could anybody help us sending the correct links ?
Thanks a lot.
