I interpreted it just like Doghouse Reilly, but then again I'm not sure. Very good speech, though, so the few mistakes don't matter.

According to filmbug, the actor Jean Reno speaks multiple languages,

Dolph Lundgren.
According to his own website, on the third question he answered "Well I speak Swedish and English of course, then German, French, Spanish, Some Italian and Japanese. Alanis Morissette. Her Dad is French-Canadian her Mom is Hungarian. She speaks both. I did read an article she did in French. She also wrote and recorded a song in which she sings in Hungarian (it's called "Mercy", on her greatest hits collection - and really really good!).

I know Jodie Foster is fluent in French, because she was in the French film Un long dimanche de fiancelles and did a pretty good job.
