With healing332 I hope, he's funny. One might not agree with him, but at least he's different, imaginative. A welcome change from the usual repetitive questions, boring argumentative perorations and predictable recommendations of some.
Even though watching the same film x times is not really my idea of fun, his posts are quite lively and entertaining.
There's just one thing that worries me: FSI. Why should he have anything to do with that programme? It doesn't make sense, unless ....
Well, it doesn't really matter, I find him a great read, mistakes and all.

FSI gives me a good grammer lesson..I could not figure out the Det.. Den..dar..in Swedish..After the lessons FSI has grammer lessons in the print.
I listen to the Unit and follow along with the text..Many of the stuff on FSI i leave out.. I leave out...many of the nouns..airport stuff..looking for an apartment..ect..I only concentrate on their verbs and also it gives me a great explaination of the Why..were..when..where..how.. in Swedish.. which make up a good part of sentences
Example in unit 5 i only found maybe 6 useful lines in that unit..It had many nouns that did not interest me about an apartment.
Someone in this forum uses FSI in a very smart way. They take out the setences they need and imported it into at a voice program and made their own pimsluer lessons. Great idea..
i find it really is a good schooling BUT i leave alot of it out

Is there a difference in learning a language between people who watch subtitled movies/soaps and people who watch dubbed movies/soaps?
