Dear forum members! I would very much appreciate it if you help me out with my research! My thesis has to do with how speakers of different languages decribe a human body. I have already analized the data from fiction and corpora, but I also need some from assotiative experiments. I have rather few English speakers here, so I have to ask for your help.
So, the procedure is following: you have a list of bodyparts. After you have read one, you immediately (without thinking too long) write down several adjectives that come to your mind when you see this word. I.g.: lashes can be long, black, bushy, captivating, trembling, etc.
Here's the list:
1) eyes
2) ears
3) nose
4) mouth
5) lips
6) eyebrows
7) neck
8) hands
9) arms
10) legs
11) feet
13) stomach
14) head
15) face
Thanks in advance!
