For audio of words, try forvo.com. Check this thread for some tools Sprachprofi put together, including one that apparently pulls words automatically from Forvo for you. It looks like they were all written using Ruby, so you'll need to install that before being able to run them.

For full phrases, try RhinoSpike. You can submit phrases to be read by natives.

I've been spending the last week or two getting my head around Anki (at first, it was making getting my head around Chinese feel easy, in comparison!). I downloaded a couple of decks from near the top of the list of offerings on the Anki site, but they didn't seem to be suited to me, so I have been making my own, based on word frequency lists on Wiktionary, and also from interesting terms and phrases that I came across myself. Your list, however, looks (so far, after less than 10 minutes' acquaintance ...) like it is fairly similar to the way I would like my deck to be, so I expect that it will be pretty useful. 1 person has voted this message useful |
