Not sure if this has been posted already but a quick search didn't reveal it.

I'll just quote their blurb verbatim:

EuroNews is Europe’s news channel covering world news from a European perspective in a choice of seven languages. EuroNews broadcasts simultaneously in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Launched on 1st January 1993, as the first multilingual pan-European news channel, EuroNews has rapidly established itself as Europe’s leading television news channel.

What's useful is that their website has the daily news stories usually accompanied with Real Media Video in all the above languages (a "Video" link lets you know if there's anything to listen to or watch).

The clips are short enough to be repeated without worrying about downloading or recording them and there are transcripts available that let you follow what you are hearing and seeing.

Occasionally the transcripts are not complete and don't quite match the media file (well that's true of the Spanish ones anyway).

Anyway here's the link to the homepage: http://www.euronews.net.

Andy.

I never thought to look up their website for Russian news. Thanks, I think they're a lot better than SkyNews with its overly dramatic music playing all the time!

Thanks for this. We get both the English and Spanish versions via satellite and it's good to know that they also have a website.

Yes, I get it via my Sky box and I have the ability to switch the audio to any one of several languages. I've been listening to it in Spanish for a while and it only occurred to me this week to see if they had a website as well.

Andy.

Andy, how do you change the audio language - is it by using the "help" button on the Sky remote? As it just comes up as "unavailable" for me.
