There are links there to the direct feeds of almost 50 Norwegian radio stations and gives
a great selection from all over the country. Could be a good way to listen to a certain
dialect you want to hear more about, though like most radio stations you will have to put
up with a lot of music.

Not only that, but a lot of the music will be in English if pop music is what you're after. For that, I've found going to Last.fm and searching for "Norsk", then clicking on similar artists, I get a lot of good, freshly-discovered native Norwegian pop music.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten all about last.fm, haven't been on that site in a couple of
years. Thanks for pointing that out, any band suggestions? I don't really know of any
Norwegian language singing bands apart from some of the Black Metal ones I used to
listen to when I was a teenager but they are not exactly easy listening... Most of the
time it just sounds like they are trying to do banshee impersonations.
