Do you have French lesson podcasts to recommend?

Does anyone know of any such podcasts made in Canada?

I used to like Daily French Pod
there are over 1000 short lessons now but I haven't listened to them in over a year.

I know of nothing from Canada except the CBC podcasts C'est la vie
and "Word of the week" which is downloadable separately but also included at the end of "C'est la vie". These are not
lessons at all but "Word of the week" is often useful because they always talk about Canadian usage verses France
and discuss many Canadian idioms.

Still an opportunity there for you perhaps...

I know, I know... I just started working with a student who needs to concentrate on
speaking because she'll be going to Québec soon. I would like to suggest a podcast for
her, but France French would me counter-productive since she needs to understand French
as it's spoken in Québec.

I guess you are after material you can recommend to learners? I think the following ones can be useful, but it is a matter of taste, too, of course:
Daily Frenchpod
Learn French by Podcast
I don't know if FrenchPod is more useful than the above ones, but it is probably more entertaining, what is not unimportant, and I like it, overall. Their trial period is fair.
No Canadian pods, sorry, maybe someone has a good recommendation.
edit: I remember I had been looking for easy lessons for Canadian French myself, but the results were not really satisfactory. There is an Assimil "Quebecois de Poche", de poche are just minor introductions, but it may be a choice nevertheless. And I found some 40 little dialogs, nothing earth shattering, but with some advice by a native speaker they may turn out as productive. I can't find the web page where I got them from now, but if you think you could use them I can load them up somewhere, or maybe someone knows them, there are mostly two young ladies talking in situations taken from real life, small videos I have in flash format, they must be online somewhere.
edit2: Learn Canadian-French Online is what I have just found after a quick search, I cannot comment on it, don't know if it is new or I just had not found it then, but will take a closer look at it later, may be an option.

Looks good, and I'll have a listen when I have the chance. Just a few questions, which it might be good to answer on the webpage: What level are the podcasts intended for? Are the lessons consecutive, or is each podcast stand-alone?

Also, it might be good to add a number at the beginning of filenames, so when we download them, they are arranged in order.

Thanks for the link!

I had a quick listen. It's probably intermediate. It's not that the conversations are particularly difficult --and you do have the accompanying text --, but it's quite informal and impromptu in nature. Anyway, it seemed like a nice alternative for students looking for an interesting diversion from their main stream of study.

Yes, the idea is to do natural conversations.

Thanks for the idea about numbering the podcasts.
