If you are interested in some current Latin material, here is an issue of a cultural newscast produced by the German channel 3Sat completely in Latin:

The German accent is a bit thick at times, but given the scarcity of spoken Latin material, I still enjoyed it.

The anchorperson speaks quite well I believe, but it's true that the accent is terribly thick for the other journalists... not speaking very good German nor very good Latin (to say the least...), I sometimes believe the journalist is speaking German.

That's perhaps a bit sad to have set up such a great newscast and not having been bothered with pronouncing it properly...

However, if German was actually that German-accented Latin, it would be much easier to learn for me! :)

The anchor speaks well, everyone else made me want to tear my ears off. It's about as bad as the Assimil Latin course, except in the Assimil course it's a horrid French accent in Latin, in this it's a German.
