WebCorp uses the web as a language corpus. And it is free, and works very, very well in 42 languages. It will search the web for a word of your choice and show many sentences with that word in them. You get as many "sample" usages of that word in context as you want.
Besides the main word to search for, you can specify one or more "filter" words that must be on the page where it finds your word. Helps you focus on a specific area or theme. Here is a sample of the output using "telescope" as the search word and "astronomy" as a filter word: 21: to Astronomy-Telescope.co.uk Purchasing a telescope may be a very daunting undertaking.
