I'm Polish and I've been wondering which Slavic language is the most similar and, thus, would be the easiest one for me to master. I suppose it may be Czech or Slovac but it's just my guessing.

I can only confirm that, at least from what I've heard from people. A third language I've heard being quite similar is Sorbian.

Ugh... sorry... I just wanted to translate it into Polish, and the dictionary didn't have the word "Sorbian" so I (wrongly) thought it was a typing mistake. Sorry again.

IMHO Ukrainian is the easiest for Poles, but I'm not sure. At least I saw somewhere in other forums that Ukrainian is just Polish written in Cyrillic.
