in romanian we say 'asa-si-asa'(asha shi asha pronounced very fast sounding like one word only) and translated literally would mean something like 'like this and like that'

In Greek "so-so" translates as "έτσι κι έτσι". Some times we also use the expression "ούτε ζέστη, ούτε κρύο" which literally translates as "neither heat, nor cold".
