I had never heard Arnold speaking German until this day, lol.
What is his German like? Has he got foreign accent in his speech or still it is pure Austrian German?

I disagree. In the videos I've seen, he doesn't have an American accent. He speaks relatively normal Austrian German.

How unfortunate would it be if he had an American accent in German.

true, but that happens when you never have the opportunity to use your first language any more.
I know people (Germans) living in France for over 20 year and they can hardly speak correct German any more. It seems to work better with English.
But back to Arnold. Yeah, the first video is kind of old, but in all the new stuff I've seen he still doesn't really have an accent. He is just searching for words all the time and therfor sometimes mixes up his German with English words, so that makes it kind of 'unfluent'.

I'd have a hard time believing Arnold speaks German with an American accent, 'cause he certainly doesn't speak English with one! :P
