Netflix, as mentioned, has a good selection of foreign films. It's a good investment if
you are going to watch a lot of foreign movies.
As mentioned, Pan's Labyrinth and The Devil's Backbone were both very good. I also liked
Amores Perros and a film called Sin Nombre about a Honduran gang. The "Motorcycle
Diaries" and "Y Tu Momma Tabien" were other films that got a lot of international
attention.
Also, "Che" starring Benicio Del Toro was mostly in Spanish.
Most of the Spanish language films you will encounter are from Spain, Mexico, and
Argentina. The Argentine accent is a little tough to decipher.

I would also like to ask your opinion about the usefulness of Spanish-dubbed films
because I have resorted to watching them in the absence of the originally Spanish-
language output. However, I suppose that this is not exactly the same when it comes to
such matters as e.g propunciation.

Well, they are in a dialect of Spanish. So they are useful. They might be more
useful for some regions than others. Do you have a particular destination in mind? & nbsp;

Also "En la Cama" is a great movie filmmed in Argentina that has great Spanish dialogue if you are looking to learn Spanish..(remember subtitles are not word for word translation)......buena suerte! |

Don't you have any other type of movie to recommend? You know, like ones that aren't porno? |

"En la Cama" is Chilean Spanish and is for adults, but not porno. Chilean Spanish is tougher than Argentine Spanish so be warned.

As someone else said- anything directed by Almodóvar (Spain) for example "Volver" (what male doesn't like Penelope Cruz!) Mexico: Amorres Perros, Y Tu Mamá Tambien, Como Agua Para Chocolate, Nicotina- the Mexican Pulp Fiction, La Mujer de mi Hermano (US, Mexico), Un Día en el Paraíso (Argentina).
Enjoy!
