I'm translating some songs into German and need help. The first one is "All summer long", complete lyrics can be found here: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/kidrock/allsummerlong.html. I have problems with these expressions:

she was far from in-between
Catching Walleye from the dock

A translation would be brilliant but I'd also be more than satisfied if one of the native speakers tried to explain the meaning.

Second problem: There are some songs where I can't find any lyrics, so I have to write them down myself. I tried one yesterday but missed some lines. I asked for help on Facebook but so far nobody has volunteered to help me ... perhaps I'm just too impatient.

Hope it works out with the link, the lyrics should be displayed in the description of the video. There are three lines missing but I'd be pleased if someone checked the rest of the lyrics, too.

Thanks!!

From the previous line, "she was far from in-between" means that she wasn't caught between a girl and a woman - she was definitely a woman.

Walleye is a fish so the second line is straightforward in meaning. He was fishing for walleyes from the dock.

Thank you very much, that helps a lot. A walleye is a fish ... okay, I wouldn't have guessed that ... I thought it might be a person's name but it sounded so strange.
