The Mission Europa link put a smile on my face. Fun way to learn the basics.

Spanish:
Viajero del mundo - quite interesting,
spoken in a nice and slow Castillian Spanish. Good for beginners and travel buffs.
I second ciencia y genios! A fantastic, short podcast!
Kafelog a funny podcast on technology.
French:
Le Poudcast - outrageous. I find it hilarious, but my
sense of humor is sort of crude. Pierre and Nico have been my commute companions for a
long time, and I owe my listening comprehension in French to them.
If you know of something similar in Spanish please let me know! (I'll check out
etceterapodcast for sure, thanks Quabazaa)
Japanese:

RNW Nieuwslijn - news podcast in Dutch that is updated many times per day. 30 minute news segments with transcripts on the homepage |

If only it were true!
Maybe I am missing something. I cannot find "30 minute news segments with transcripts". Yes, there are 30 minute news mp3s. And there are some text news articles. But they don't match and never have. I have, in vain, asked RNW to provide, once per day, audio news with the transcript. Like Radio Deutsche Welle and other international broadcasters provide. But RNW told me it doesn't have a language teaching mandate.
If RNW now has a transcript for its 30 minute news that you see, could you point it out? I would be forever grateful.
If any Dutch citizens could talk to RNW and get it to provide such a valuable mp3/transcript news, I would again be eternally grateful.

Kubelek Thanks for the links, especially the Poudcast one, funny, I have been looking for something like Etcétera in French! ;)
Tommus: Ah that sucks! I just copied what they said about it in the old thread so can't help you there. Maybe someone who speaks Dutch can shed some light? For now I will edit the description
