Couldn't help putting a shout out for my blog;

I like the blog style. I still come here, because I like reading the logs of others, but I end up posting links to my blog posts in my log to save the time of writing again. Thats just me.

I also run a log, two logs actually. One dedicated to languages - A
Language Diary - and one to my life as a Vegetarian. I started my blog a year ago, and I'm becoming more
and more active in this sphere. I'm going to improve it over the holidays and try to link into far more content within
newspapers and daily life. Languages in Britain are not looked on fondly (foreign languages that is) and I'd like my
blog to counteract that.

Thanks @ NickJS!! My non-linguist friends seem to enjoy it and hopefully I can learn how to include more language
relevant extras! It is definitely a learning process!

different appeal to me. They're usually written for a broader audience and include more
posts about things which are only sort-of-language-related, which makes for nice
reading. Also, to be honest, I'm a bit curious about how my fellow language nerds spend
their days.

I have a blog that I've been updating for the last 14 months or so that tracks my own language learning. Personally, I don't think it would be anything even most language learners would be interested in, since I'm primarily documenting what I'm doing or what particular problems I'm having with the language.
Blogger comes with a basic analytics report that always surprises and amuses me. I see searches within the blog for specific grammar rules (I was documenting grammar problems I was having with Turkish last year). And most recently, I've seen searches for a particular Turkish soap opera that I've mentioned several times now that I'm using to increase my vocabulary. The thing is, the soap opera searches have nothing to do with language learning - people are looking for the storyline, plot or even viewing schedule. I find that amusing.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link to my own site here (apologies if not), but
here's my language learning blog:
