I'd try: 我自己学习汉语。 (Wǒ zìjǐ xuéxí hànyǔ.)

You can say "我是自学的" or "我是自学汉语的". Someone once told me another more colloquial way to say it, something like "computer-study" or maybe "internet-study", but i can't remember it now.
