Hi I am learning Russian and I am having a bit of trouble with reading the words so I want to know if there are any of the following resources out there:
video/audio recordings preferably with transcripts possibly kids tv. I have found audio recordings but the spoken Russian is too fast I want something which I can follow. some letters change their sound if they are followed by certain letters is there anywhere that has a list of rules about changes to the sounds of letters is there a website where you can enter the Russian word and hear it spoken. I'm currently working on Russian. For short educational audio snippets with transcripts I very much enjoy the first part of each lesson on learnrussian.rt.com/lessons. It may be a little fast but I find it exceptionally clear and well-spoken.
Also I find the audios on russianlessons.net useful for beginners. They have recorded single words, then phrases, then full paragraphs, as you progress through the website. 4 persons have voted this message useful | |

I recently started using lingq.com for Russian, and like it so far. I use the free edition, not sure what comes with the paid version but it doesn't seem overly necessary anyway if it's used as a supplement and not a primary source of study.
