I was taught a few French phrases at primary school, but the proper classes started at high school when I was 11 or 12. After school I stopped, and then started self-study at 22.

I was 9 when I started learning French, in my primary school... (but the system of learning it, in our school, was kinda bad,.. After all those years of learning it, I am not able to speak.. and now, 7 years passed since I stopped with learning French, so I forgot the most things I knew once..)
I was 11 when I started with English in school, but I had been already used to English thanx to Walt Disney movies)..
I was 15 when I started learning Latin (in high school).. and 25 when I started with Italian (on my own)...

I was 6 when I first tried Italian (although I had no memory of it, my parents showed
me a paper where I wrote numbers and basic words in Italian)
I was 10 when I first started English in Middle school.
I was 11 when I started Latin in school as well.
I was 12 when I started Spanish in school as well. (although I never really studied it
seriously)
I was 16 when I first tried learning Japanese but I was 18 when I really started
seriously. That was my first language I studied mostly on my own.
I was 20 when I started self-studying Korean.
I was 22 when I started Mandarin on my own.
I was about to be 23 when I started Ainu.
I hope I'll be able to restrain myself from starting a new language before my birthday!

I was 12 when I started learning Italian; continued for about 12 years, hope to pick it up again and get fluent one
day...
I was 18 when I started learning French at university; only got fluent after marrying a Frenchman, and intense
immersion (with mother-in-law's invaluable help!).
I was 19 when I started learning Spanish at university; got discouraged due to interference from Italian and French.
Hope to pick Spanish up again some day as well.

I started learning German at 32. I've never believed that adults are any less able to learn than children. If the motivation is there and the learning conditions are good, any human being will be successful at languages.

Delved into Mandarin on and off since elementary school.
Cantonese was just a few years ago.
German has been on and off since High school.
I started going mad around 17 when I began comparing things.
