The download link from KitQC2 didn't work for me either.
There are some words that are unique to the Quebecois, and they use a very different set of swear words, but the biggest difference is the prononciation.
Try downloading some episodes of the hilarious Quebecois sitcom Les Bougon, to get an idea and give you something to help you adjust.

Bah, I know Quebecois who have trouble understanding the accents on Les Bougon :) .
I recommend some Quebec stuff that's a little closer to normal. Bon Cop, Bad Cop should be coming out on DVD soon, just in time for Christmas... (Or as I've recommended before, Un Gars, Une Fille).
Too bad KitQC2 didn't work for you -- I just tried it now and had no problems.

It is "Tabarnak!" not "tabernac"
