Two bottles of water! So much! But perhaps I understand you, when I am living in a humid place where native Cantonese usually get "too hot". I'm not actively speaking aloud in language learning now, but still have to drink three to five cups of cold, non-aired water while doing things like Wikipedia. Yes, Hong Kong doesn't have that sort of water as in Germany. I've tried the German "aired" water. That's strange to me. Because it's like Coke and I always had to get the "air" out right after drinking. But the Germans seem to have get used to this.

I get my tap water from a deep well near my house. It's a bit salty and of course it's chlorinated, but otherwise tastes fine. Our fridge has a filter that helps its taste a bit more. Many cities near me use lakes for water. With that junk you must have a water filter or suffer the nasty taste. I even have to bring my own bottled water to work as it's so bad. Typical bottled water in the States is not that great as it usually has no minerals to offset the bitterness of "over"-filtered water. Most bottled water in Europe that I've had was from a spring and its minerals are left in, whereas in the US those get removed. Odd.
