Recently I have been using the MyMemory website to get useful, human-generated
expressions and sentences to enhance my L2 learning. Probably not all the translations
are quite right but for English > Dutch, they look very good. The site says the
translations are: "From professional translators, enterprises, web pages and freely
available translation repositories".

You won't usually get direct translations, except for simple expressions and sentences.
But you will get quite a variety of related expressions and sentences from which you can
learn a lot. My technique is to enter a short sentence or just several related words, and
then browse through all the offerings.

Wow! That is an excellent site! It is limited to French, English, German, Spanish and
Portuguese. I wish it also included Dutch.
