Hello,
I'm looking for some advice to learn to use verbs in Russian. I already learn
verbs couples & words through flashcards. I begin to be quite familiar with the cases
thanks to textbooks & audio. But still, I don't seem to be able to conjugate fast
enough, even though I know the verbs. I'm kind of overwhelmed by the numbers of
different conjugations styles.
I'm thinking about flashcards for the different verb categories, and then I may be able
to fetch the right category in my head by looking at the verb ending. It's a lot of
work & I don't know if it will pay, so i'm asking you.
What do you think / suggest ?
Thanks

What my teacher asked me and my classmates to do was to buy a verb conjugation book, like those "501 verbs in French", for Russian.
We did, and as far as I'm concerned it helped A LOT!!! Every new verb I found, I would go straight to the book, in order to seek for its "pair" and take a look at the conjugation. With time, the patterns build in your head without even noticing.
